HF Patch for AI-Shoujo v2.0.1 / ＡＩ*少女自動更新 (Patreon)

Content

A patch for AI-Syoujyo (ＡＩ*少女, the original Japanese release) and AI-Shoujo (the Steam release) with all free updates, fan-made English translations and essential mods. It will improve performance, add features, fix common issues, and allow you to load character cards and scenes found online. All this while still keeping the original, uncluttered feel of the game.

All content is tested and fixed (or removed) as needed before each update. HF Patch can repair many common problems, try it if you have issues with your game or mod setup. By default, it cleans the game before applying new mods, providing a stable platform for further modding. You can apply HF Patch over any game installation or repack without issues.

HF Patch does not contain the full game, paid expansions or any other pirated content. You have to buy the game and expansions separately. You can buy the game on Steam or on DMM.

WARNING: Heelz is known to have some issues in this release. When installing the HF Patch make sure to disable Heelz on the mod list (it's about halfway down the list). 

Before installing check this installation guide and FAQ. It was made for the Steam release but most of it applies to the Japanese release as well.

Note: To keep the download size reasonable, Sideloader Modpacks with studio items and studio maps are not included in the download (25GB+). To download them you can use the KKManager mod updater - run it from the last page of HF Patch, or run it from the launcher.

H scene UI not working in steam version Edit: It seems my last edit was disappeared. For me deleting AI_UnlockPlayerHClothes helped. But I will test removing that Heelz and move that AI_UnlockPlayerHClothes back.

The H bug seems to be from the "Heelz" plugin. Disabled it with KK and it's fine so far.

Thanks for the patch, man! Could you answer a few questions? Does this version include the ability of making the girl taller than 100 like previous one did? Does it improve performance? I installed the previous verison on top of the base game and then I insalled the ecstasy patch. This was the only way the game would work with the ecstasy patch. But unfortunately, some textures were broken and things like nippes just disappeared. I don't know if it was only a problem on my end, but if it's not, then may I ask if this was fixed in the current version? And the last question: could you please update the character height measurement mod? The old one isn't working.

Is there a mod that allows us to save a card after editing, overwrite the card, but keep the picture? (i.e. I dun wanna ruin some of the photoshopped card that I downloaded)

Yes, it includes all features from previous versions. The ecstasy patch is only for the steam release. If you have the steam release then the previous version of the hf patch would break the game plenty and you should verify local game files (from steam library) and install v2.0.1 (if you downloaded v2.0 already that's fine too, only when installing you have to uncheck the Heelz mod).

IMPORTANT: If you installed v2.0 HF Patch on the Steam release, remove the "\BepInEx\plugins\Heelz.dll" file (look inside your game directory) to avoid bugs in H scenes. Alternatively you can reinstall the v2.0 HF Patch and uncheck Heelz in the mod selection list. You don't have to download the v2.0.1 HF Patch if you have downloaded the v2.0 HF Patch already. The only change that I've made is to not install Heelz if the Steam version is detected.

It might be the height unlock, by default the game forces both characters to be the same height to make everything line up well but the unlock might make the two too far apart. It's the AI_UnlockPlayerHeight.dll

Thanks for the patch. Seems Illusion has release several free updates for the DMM/JP version but they say these updates are not applicable for the Steam version, will the HF patch also apply these free updates for the Steam version and change the Steam version from 1.0.0 to 1.0.7?

The patch already applies most of those. The version number won't change but you still get features from the free patch like the studio. I'll see if more of the patch can be used for the next version of the patch, most likely yes. They seem to be saying this just because they don't want to localize it to English.

Did it work before the patch, and when installing the patch did you let it remove all old mods/plugins? If you didn't then try reinstalling the patch with all default settings. If that doesn't help you might need to reinstall the game.

Yeah, I'm doing a full reinstall now. Figured it might have been because I was confused and might have added mods that does not work with the Steam Version. This time, I'll try just adding the Ecstasy Patch from their site, then the HF patch. Though, if I don't activate the Translation, does something fuck up?

If you have the steam release then adding random mods could definitely break something since things outside of HF Patch are generally not tested for this release yet. The translation in the patch only applies to studio and modded items and adds a better launcher with studio and auto update support, so if you're fine with having those then not installing the translation is fine.

Ah I see. Well now I can open both the actual game, and character creator. Problem though, and I hope I'm not being too annoying. The whole game is now in japanese, even while the game is supposed to be the English Steam version. When installing the HF Patcher, I didn't tag the Translator, cause I like the offical translation better. Is there a way to keep that or do I have to do the patcher and get the wonky translation? Basically is there any of the Translators I should leave untagged or not?

HF Patch only adds missing translations, it doesn't replace the existing ones, so there's no reason not to install them. Make sure that you have English language set in the game launcher if you didn't install the translations from HF Patch (if you did then the patch should force the language to be English).

If you really have the Steam release it sounds like there might be some issues with your game install. Try to game verify files from your Steam library, delete the UserData\setup.xml file, and make sure you have AI-Shoujo.exe not AI-Syoujyo.exe (if you have anything named AI-Syoujyo in your game directory for whatever reason then you might need to reinstall the game). Then install HF Patch with all default settings.

So, I do another full 100% clean reinstall. Then add the offical patch for Steam. Then add the HF patch. In the patch, do I still tag the Translator or not? If I do, will it only translate Japanese text from mods, or will it force everything to Japanese, then try (and fail) to translate it?

Hello, I'm having trouble getting the scripts included in the disabled.zip to load. I unzipped the .cs files and placed them in the scripts folder, but whenever I start the game they don't work. According to the output log I'm getting the same error CS0121 for every script I want to use. Any idea what the problem could be? Everything else seems to work fine.

Hey man, just wanted to say thank you for being so fast with porting it to steam. Since i disovered studio i honestly spent an absurd amount of time with it, with most scenes at least being slightly morally questionable (dont't judge me tho). Tried to message you in your guide on steam, but it disappeared. Anyway, despite having even managed to use custom animations with NodesConstraints, i still search for a method to make a (short) video of scenes (not with screen capture methods like shadowplay). So, if you know a solution, i would appreciate your help.

This patch includes an updated ScriptLoader, one of its updates broke backwards compatibility with some plugins. They should be fixable fairly easily by editing the scripts based on what errors you get. You can roll back to previous ScriptLoader but it will break the AIPE fix script since it requires the newest version.

Hey hey ManlyMarco. Mod works great. Thank you for doing an amazing job with it all :). One thing I noticed is when you do a titjob I think the one on its own or including luck or something, the male models penis head is reversed looks very weird and sometimes it spins A bit like as in more than necessary on the shaft like 90 degrees ... anyhoo. Love your work. Thought I’d point that out :D

This is how illusion made the animations, it's normally not a problem because it's a disco stick with no direction. Unfortunately there's no fix at the moment.

I tried downloading via MEGA and all the bin files downloaded except the exe keeps disappearing. I made sure my firewall was off but every time I download it just disappears. Could be something wrong on my end because my download records show that I have downloaded it. Heck, even I tried the Torrent and the exe file still disappeared. I'm just confused to be honest, because I downloaded the HF patch for Koikatsu Party just fine.

It looks like Heelz got broken in the Japanese version as well. The author knows about this and is planning to fix this, but it might take some time. For now the solution is to remove it and wait. You can join the IS discord server if you want to try and help find the cause of the bug.

Simply select Japanese when installing HF Patch, it will uncheck the English translation. If you have the Steam release you might also need to open the game launcher and select Japanese language (do this after installing HF Patch). If you don't want to reinstall HF Patch then remove bepinex\plugins\XUnity.AutoTranslator and bepinex\translation, then go to userdata\setup.xml and change the Language property to 0.

Activate Console enables debug console, it's useful for troubleshooting issues with your game and it's always a good idea to have it turned on. DHH is a graphics enhancement mod, it's off by default because it can drastically change how the game looks to the point where cards made with it enabled are almost useless for people without it, and some people don't like how it makes the game look. After turning it on you have to configure it by pressing P,

During the H scenes, the pleasure meter is no longer visible, and the finish button at the bottom doesn't seem to work on the female when attempting to please them. Is there a workaround for this? I have the Steam version, and have deleted the heelz.dll file.

It looks like the update should not affect the patch at all. Try running the game as normal, and if you can see any issues then reinstall the patch (you will not lose the game update).

How can I keep playing with my original language (Traditional Chinese) on Steam while using this HF Patch? I tried not to download the English translation and it works, but which means I can't activate the DHH without the multilangual launcher. Is there any way I can activate the DHH without downloading the English translation? Thanks for the great work!

Hi, I bought and downloaded the game from Fanza and patched it with HF immidiateley. but when I enter my first H Scene. The girl went into the "Waiting Position" and the game stopped responding. I cant even exit the scene or open any options. I have the error codes from console window if you want to take a look at it.

What torrent client are you using? Try updating it. Also try turning it off completely and back on, and try to make it re-check the downloaded files (depends on the client, usually it's somewhere in right click menu).

No, this is all that you need. The modpack might or might not conflict with the patch if you apply it afterwards. You can install the patch over the modpack (or almost any game setup) without issues.

how do i suppose to change language ? i clicked chinese flag on setting but nothing changed. Did i miss something?

Changing language to Chinese is supported since HF Patch v2.1, you have to update to the latest patch.

First of all this is an old version, the latest is here https://www.patreon.com/posts/36950168 Make sure your antivirus isn't blocking it from starting, and that the download isn't corrupted. Try to restart your PC and move the patch files to some other directory like to your Downloads folder.
