The Sony PVM 20L5 has No Power! | Can this CRT Masterpiece be saved?

This is the Sony PVM 20L5 Multiformat CRT Monitor. It has a problem where it will not power on correctly (no power). After consulting Savon Pat, we found that this monitor has a resistor that can blow like a fuse. In this video we locate the problem resistor, C705 located on the neck board. I will pull the resistor from the board and test it to make sure it is the problem. Then I will replace the resistor with a high quality 39 ohms 1/4 watt through hole resistor and hopefully the Trinitron will live again! Let's repair this amazing masterpiece.
