Sony BVM 14F5U Master Monitor - A Perfect Retro Trinitron 📺 | With a NEW CRT Tube

This is the Sony BVM 14F5U Trinitron CRT Monitor. It is a 13" analog video monitor with a sharp 800 Lines of resolution. It needs a bit of work, but it does have a new tube. Beautiful monitor. Do you have any tips on fixing actual chips in the screen of PVMs or other CRTs? Unfortunately, my 14M4U doesn't have that protective layer and has a pretty deep scuff near the middle of the screen. Would something like a windshield repair kit do anything to fix it?
