Good morning ,

Here is a video that will either be out on Monday or maybe later next week.  I have another HUGE project that is ready to release too, but I'll have more on that next week.  The NEC is also coming along nicely and I'll be working on it all weekend.  The teardown video will be next for that CRT.

Here is a link to the discord if you want to join:  https://discord.gg/jpbrAUSfK4

Thanks and have a great weekend.

Buying the Cheapest SONY PVM on eBay, but what's the catch?

I was planning on needing to possibly replace many parts on this PVM, oh well. This is a recent Sony PVM 8042Q CRT Trinitron Monitor that I purchased off of eBay. The seller accepted my best offer of $61 shipped for this PVM. It was advertised as not-working. The timing on this is funny, I recently grabbed an 8045Q for $130 shipped that was listed for parts and works just fine. Thanks to Joebot on Patreon for helping me determine it was likely fine. https://www.ebay.com/itm/324578621585 Unfortunately when opening the package I tried to lift the monitor from its side using the front handle and cracked the bezel pretty good. Do you happen to have a spare laying around? It looks just like your 8042.
