Be sure to set a pledge cap (Patreon)

Hi everyone. 

I like to make a reminder post about this when I'm getting a lot of new patrons. This is a per-post campaign, which is apparently unusual. So, some people may forget to set a pledge cap. By default, there is no limit which can lead to a bad surprise if you forget to set one. 

You should set your limit to the number of posts you feel comfortable supporting each month. Once set, you won't pay for more posts than the limit set but you will still have access to all posts made. You can also set it to one post per month if you prefer monthly campaigns.

Thanks for all of your support, and especially for participating in the event I'm running this month to recover from the payment issue at the start of the month. Your support is what allows me to keep working on my games, so I'm trying to do my best on them.
