Short Story Patron Release: Corrupts Absolutely (Patreon)

It's been a little while since my last short story. This one is a fair bit longer than the last one though; I believe the last one was around 600 words; this one is about 2000 words.  For patrons who have joined since my last story, this post works similarly to the game posts. This post is a free post, and the paid post will be in a week when I do the public release of the story. 

This story is themed around reality warping, but with the twist that the point of view character is not the one with the reality bending powers. Memory manipulation, and transformation themes are fairly prevalent in this story. 

Feel free to leave a comment on what you think of the story, and where you might want it to go from here since the ending does leave it open for continuation. Also, if you can't open docx files, let me know what format might be better and I'll try to include other formats.
