Spiral Clicker 0.02 Patron Release (Patreon)

I just finished version 0.02 for Spiral Clicker. Here's a list of what's new in this version:

- Naked Outfits added for all characters.

- 1 CG added for Tammy.

- 1 CG added for Amber.

- Helen bonus added; She appears in mind break at tier 15, and deals her tier times your click power in damage when clicked on.

- 7 hypno-convos with Helen added. These can be turned on and off in the settings. 

- 1 CG added for Erika

- 4 CGs added for Crystal.

- Crystal Tier bonus added

- 3 CGs added for Sally.

- Game rescaled to 480x720 to fit on computer monitors.

- Kathrine added to the game.

- Some stats rebalanced to place Crystal before Amber in difficulty.

- Joyce added to the game.

- Options for hypnotic focus added.

- Summoning System added. Pearls cost 1000 total levels each, or 100M willpower; or a combination of the two.

- Princess Dianne Added.

- 2 CGs for Dianne Added.

- Fem-DH Added.

- 2 CGs for Fem-DH added.

- Existing Erika scenes rewritten

- 7 Erika convos added.

- 8 Sally convos added.

- 4 Tammy convos added.

Awesome, looking forward to checking it out. One thing I'm noticing right away, not sure if intentional or not, but when I spam clicks over the "Upgrade Spiral" button Helen always ends up visiting after about 10 seconds or so of doing this. I like having the Helen options turned on, but I also like to grind my spiral power up and Helen stops me from doing that unless I turn her off.

That is an odd bug. My best guess is that somehow it is not registering the reset-on-click code when clicking on that button specifically. I'll try to come up with a way to fix that.

Great work so far! I do like mixing the linear progression up a bit with pearls, though are pearls the currently planned system for replaying conversations or will there be future ways of revisiting character conversations without resetting your levels?

I tried out the new update, and I have to say I'm impressed. I really like the new dialogue that accompanies the pictures, they're pretty hot and give more of a story to those they're added to. My complaint there is that it doesn't seem like it's universal yet, as only Sally seems to have a complete "story" from beginning to end (and, as a matter of personal taste, hers doesn't end with her declaring you her master).

Stupid hitting enter too soon... Moving on, the other problem I have with this update is the pearl system. Currently, you select that you want a pearl, and Helen takes as much Willpower is necessary and all the levels you've accumulated thus far to make however many Pearls are physically possible to make. While that's all well and good, it also resets any progress you've made in claiming the girls thus far. Now, I'm all for replaying games I enjoy, but I'd appreciate a little warning before I'm told I have to restart. I could see two potential fixes- the first being a warning that pops up on screen to alert the player of the consequences. The second being an option to not only pick how many pearls you want to buy, but how you'd like to pay for them. I currently have eight pearls that are sitting useless in my inventory because I have both girls unlocked, and the aforementioned reset is a problem that could be potentially rectified with a simple "100M per pearl" transaction. I'd like to emphasize that I do enjoy Spiral Clicker, despite my negativism.

And last thing, Erika's "x percent to all Willpower creation" thing doesn't seem to scale with level; by which I mean that it doesn't matter if she's lvl 25 or 200, it stays the same 10%.

The main reason for Erika's bonus being flat, and the dialogue not being "complete" is due to time. Designing the summon system took a lot longer than I thought it would, and it left me with less time to get writing done than I expected to have when I set the release date for this update. As for the pearls, trading in levels for pearls is meant to be the main way to get them. Including willpower was more to help you "round up" to another pearl, more than just a way to exclusively purchase them. The general idea is that resetting would allow you to re-visit conversations, and get to put them under your control again, while also gaining something from it to help grow the harem. I am currently working on ideas for more things to do with pearls to make resets worth it, and I will work on adding a confirmation option to that scene today after I get some more sleep.

Once you get far enough to be able to make a pearl, and get Helen to tier 30, Helen will introduce summoning to you, and adds a new button to her main screen for summoning.

Can I also request a counter for how many convos we have left to unlock for each girl?

i am planning to include a counter for that as well; I am trying to get the writing done for each existing character first so I can tell what would be the most effective way to do it.

It seems that the Sally statements are in the wrong order: you unlock the first picture when she mentions the outfit and you unlock the outfit when she mentions the first picture scene

The downloadable version requires a way to unzip the .rar folder; I use winrar. It will also require a standalone flash player to play the game.

Hello! I seem to have messed up when it came to Winrar. It won't allow me to change my type viewer. (I chose Adobe Reader instead of flash.) I don't know how to change this and I'm not exactly sure how to work embed.swf. Do you have step-by-step instructions I could follow?

To change what opens the file, right click, then select "open with" and check the option for "always use this for this file type". I use firefox for the embed, and it usually just requires you to confirm to use flash. Other browsers have different steps for enabling flash.

Flash should load automatically, but some browsers block it. You should probably look up how to enable flash for whichever web browser you are using.

It doesn't even open to a web browser for me. All it does is open in win.rar, and if I open it from there, it opens in adobe reader.

The embed is on the page you get to when clicking on the banner in this post. It loads above the download link. The downloadable file needs to be extracted first with winrar, then opened with a standalone flash player to be run.
