Home Artists Posts Import Register

It's been a few months, so I thought I would make another announcement about this. I put in several places that this is a per-post campaign, but there are some people who are so accustomed to monthly ones that they just click through without noticing. I do give refunds when someone is overcharged because they forgot to set one though.

I do per-post because it lets me estimate my budget for paying my artists more easily, and it demonstrates to you guys that I am going to keep getting work done because I only get paid for what work is actually done each month.

You can set a maximum pledge amount to make sure that you are never charged more than you expect to be though even as my work pace improves and my team of artists grows. There is no penalty to setting a max pledge amount. You still get all the rewards you are meant to have even after hitting your cap; all it does is ensure you don't pay more than you intend to.

Higher pledge caps do help me afford more art each month, as each post gets to be worth less than the previous posts, I eventually hit a point where I can't afford to commission more art until the next month starts. Your comfort is most important though. I never want anyone to pay more than they can actually afford.

Thanks for all of your support. Without you guys, I would not be able to keep making the games that I enjoy making; or at least I wouldn't be able to update them nearly as reliably and quickly as I do.

Yeh. I just changed it to basically only pay out after one post per month. I'm not really a fan of the per-post model, so this is better for me.

Glad to hear this post helped. I try to post about this every few months or when I get a lot of new patrons since patreon doesn't seem to make it very clear how flexible payment options are and some people might accidentally pledge too much without realizing it.
