Got this one from Hilent; as a bit of a break between drawing avatars. She has 6 characters done so far. This one will be for a romance scene with Molly.

Hey, I've followed this for awhile (though my only posts were on blogspot via a different name) and I have a couple concerns about the game (Even though there is a lot to like about it!). My biggest concern right now is that certain enslavements have weird/obscure conditions with a one-time attempt. What I mean is that the way to enslave certain characters feels unintuitive and easily miss-able (Brittany only enslavable if you have Julia with you in your party the first time you talk to her). Certain ones do make sense, but I often feel like I HAVE to follow the walk-through/guide to reach certain options. Erin, for instance requires multiple specific dialogue options or the sequence isn't possible, and in many cases it isn't clear that you are even failing the dialogue to enslave her. (Knowing exactly when to use a spell during conversations and such). I guess the more I played the game, the more I felt I was trying to follow the walk-through rather than discovering these things by actually playing. My main suggestion for these types of things is to simply allow repeated attempts at certain events. Especially sequences that aren't clearly leading towards something. It isn't a big deal once a series of events is clearly leading somewhere and the characters/interactions direct you, but that's just my opinion on things. As an aside, I would love the option for the Erin x Eric (As identical twins) scene when they are both set to be like default Erin. Can still use the same art as the special sequence when enslaving Eric. Anyways, keep it up. I hope this didn't sound too negative. You're still doing well. :o

I think the majority of the problem with the obscurity of each enslavement method is just due to the game not being finished. This can probably be seen in how characters who have been around longer have more methods of enslavement than the more recently added ones do. Eventually, I plan to have enough opportunities to enslave each character that you could conceivably do it at any point during the game.

Alright, thanks for the heads up. I wasn't sure how things were going, but it's good to know you are aware of the issue. I just don't like feeling like I have to figure things out via a wiki/walkthrough instead of through the game itself.

Yeah, I'm going to be working on more jump-on points for plotlines, and connections in the next update. Hopefully that will make it easier to stumble upon content without needing to follow exact instructions. My eventual plan is for there to be enough side content that multiple blind playthroughs will end up with a lot of new things to see.
