The best part of this story, as I said before, is the subtle nature of the changes. As we read it from Ashley's viewpoint, we don't even realize her change in attitude from anger to guilt is manufactured by Grant. Very well done.

What is really strange is she is questioning things only up to the point he stated they where messed with. Was she a lesbian, Were they friends, Did he really give her the powers he said he gave her?
