Hey everyone! Well unfortunately we had to postpone our special guest again. Not a big deal; should be sorted out soon. But in the meantime we've had to re-adjust a bit. So now we're planning to do a Best of the Worst spotlight episode on an Albert Pyun movie soon. If you're unfamiliar, Albert Pyun is a b-movie legend who's not doing well right now:

We did his 90s Captain America movie about 1000 years ago and thought it would be nice to pay tribute to him. Not sure which movie we're doing yet but there's plenty to choose from. In addition to that, we've been doing a lot of pre-planning for a Half in the Bag episode that will be a big ol' story wrap-up for our ongoing Glembeeza storyline. We've had to get lots of new props and there may be another surprise or two. It should be fun. After that, we will hopefully be back on track to shoot a Wheel of the Worst episode, featuring the first appearance of a new and improved wheel! This new one spins for longer than half a second. It's great!

If you're looking for any recommendations for an Albert Pyun movie, I'd go for Cyborg and Nemesis at least. Cyborg for more obvious reasons, and Nemesis for its cast like the Thomas Jane nude scene, B-move legend Tim Thomerson , Tsang Tsung (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa), and in my opinion some really good action scenes and ideas for its time. From reading about Albert, he seemed really found of those two movies with having multiple sequels for Nemesis and even having a movie called "Cyborg Nemesis: The Dark Rift". While that one isn't very good, there are lots of other good movies to cover too, so just my 2 cents.

I have a feeling the special guest is Mr. Rem Lazar himself...I forgot the actors name

Tim Fuglsang

I want them to do Pyun's Nemesis 5: The New Model, for the sole reason that it stars Dawna Lee Heising who is the titular RoboWoman in RoboWoman, the gang's favorite movie of all fucking time!

Looking forward to your Albert Pyun spotlight. Your discussion of his Captain America movie is pretty funny. And all the other shows you plan to do, guest star or not, that's not so important to me, albeit every guest is welcome. :)

Nemesis 5 was actually directed by the hack who made RoboWoman, not Pyun. It's also, like RoboWoman, not really a movie.

I still think the first "Nemesis" is absolutely terrific... showed you, what Pyun could do, when he had a budget. He's one of the formative directors from my movie renting heydays during the 90s and 2000s... whenever I'd see a new flick by him on the shelf, I'd grab it immediately. They were not all gold (and some of them were truly horrific garbage), but I wouldn't want to have missed a single one. The news about his declining health pisses me off to no end... :(

You gotta do Nemesis.

Which Albert Pyun movie? Hmmm..."The Sword and the Sorcerer" is too good for BOTW, so that just leaves every other movie Albert Pyun ever made as appropriate fodder for BOTW.

rich evans from the ellen show is such a diva for refusing to show up

A new wheel that spins longer? I'm not sure Russian Roulette with a fully loaded gun is improved if the cylinder spins longer. I think what you're saying is you have a new wheel that extends torture and delays the inevitable by a few seconds. Ye who spin, abandon all hope.

DonMac

They destroyed the nice new Wheel of the Worst that Rich built a few years ago. Did they make Rich build another new one?

The Real Zam

Not sure if anyone mentioned this before, but Pyun passed away about 10 days after this video was released. I only hope he was able to see it.
