Daniel Frank

A*P*E!!!!!! "Not to be confused with King Kong."

Lance Batty

Hell yeah! I've got my night planned out now!

Conor

Oh thank the gods. I'm so very lonely.

Rick Drake

Is Honorable Men part of the Dangerous Men universe?

Anonymous

I was excited when I saw Frank Stallone's name, thinking it'd be Frank Stallone Sr. headlining "Easy Kill" and peddling some health food at the same time, just like his wife Jacqueline. Frank Junior will do just as well.

So - this comes out when I’m at work (Aust - so it’s my morning here) have to wait a few hours - at least it’s something to look forward to 👍

I use adblock on youtube and love your content enough that I had to sign up here.... and I'm a super cheap fuck >_> I'm 5000% on board with your Star Trek stuff. The Plinkett Picard review is what introduced me to your channel :) It was much more enjoyable than the trash picard show was!

Is it me or Rich lost weight recently? Or maybe I'm noticing it just now because I'm been bingewatching BotW since the 100th episode first aired. In any case, congratulations, Rich! :)

Eileen Herbert

What hazy-ass IPA is Mike drinking?!?!

Neil Peart, Lord of Drums

They're the only content creator I support on here. Not because they need me to, but because they earn it. And I can tell that they put their patrons' money to use. These guys are still evolving and improving to this day.

Neil Peart, Lord of Drums

I thought "APE" stood for "Ass Play Everywhere." By the way, when are we finally going to get that promised BOTW with Abraxas?

In other news, sales of Never Been Kissed have inexplicably gone through the roof.

Andre K

The best thing about the episode is that the gang are all fully vaccinated!

Anonymous

this was amazing and fantastic! I read some youtube comments that said you all should try to get Frank Stallone on the show.

Munchman

Great Episode, gotta say though one of the best Scenes is at around an Hour and 9 Minutes, when talking about buying a gift for the child, I mean woman... WOMAN! Rich: He would have to buy her a gift from the Toy store. Jay is taking a drink and tries not to laugh and just puts his hand over his face. Another Almost Spit take moment!

Capital!

Wow Never Been Kissed story! I’m going to puke on Drew Barrymore. That was another fantastic historical anecdote

Anonymous

How is this different from the version on YouTube? How is it a Patreon version?

Anonymous

The Honorable Men cover looks suspiciously like the Wild at Heart cover.

Anonymous

You know it will. Price seems to skyrocket when RLM mentions a movie. Good thing I already watched it. Actually in one of my video classes I was taking when I was going to school for animation, I used Never Been Kissed to create a music video. My instructor was a Russian and he seemed to really like it. I did get an A on it.

an hour and a half? what have I done to deserve this greatness

Peter Kostka

That Never Been Kissed story was glorious.

Anonymous

Excellent episode.

What sort of monster has never seen Never Been Kissed?

Rhea

"He doesn't just shoot black people, he shoots brown people too" thank you Josh, it's nice to feel represented. Hey Mike if you puked on Drew Barrymore she'd probably still be telling that story on late night talk shows. You could've been the guy who puked on her face. Missed opportunity.

Rhea

Me, I'm monster. Now I've seen the only important part though.

This was somewhat of a perfect episode: a new classic anecdote which features young Mike and Rich Evans. A new classic bad movie/vanity project. CAMERON MITCHELL. The alien mask which has been used before, I believe so in a short film (24 hour film project?) The famous monkey man suit. And of course, the ‘classic’ format, which as the gang alluded to is somewhat of a gimmick itself nowadays. 5/5, 10/10, an all-timer in terms of BOTW episodes.

Anonymous

The problem is that the end of that arc - he learns to trust a monkey....and we can’t have that.

That A*P*E got his dancing moves down pat...

The irony of that story Mike tells about him and Rich being extras on that Drew Barrymore movie is that Fight Club is one of Rich Evan’s favorite films of all time and the Blu-Ray release of Fight Club has that menu that glitches and makes you think it’s a Blu-Ray for... NEVER BEEN KISSED, THE EXACT SAME DREW BARRYMORE MOVIE

Marvin Falz

I love that Mike has included two clips from one of the Christian videos (against pornography or music videos with sexual content) from a previous episode in the montage of the "trailer voiceover guy." The offscreen narrator in the Christian video sounds so dry and unexcited, it makes me laugh every time.

The lighting on the BOTW set looks great, guys.

The Thinking Cat...Former Cthulhu Pofit Neo Normie and Masked fat guy but now a Cat ??

Interesting I bought APE back in 1993 thinking it was King Kong 1976 as the tape box was missing and it was in the 50p bin marked Cong 1976 I assumed it was the Jeff Bridges movie but instead I sat watching with my friends falling about laughing at this pile of shit with tracking issues in it and a video tape that looked like it was found in a tomb next to the golden head from Raiders.

Mike's story about being an extra was hilarious. I was an extra on an episode of VEEP. It was set in a Tehran airport, aka BWI. It took fucking forever. We showed up at 8pm and left around 6am. I never met anyone famous, just had to walk up and down the moving sidewalks pretending to be a traveller. I got the star treatment though because I was like seven months pregnant at the time and the guy in charge of the extras was so scared I was going to go into labor right there in the airport. Lol. I got a seat and water. At the end of night, I got $75 and it was not worth it at all. Being an extra sucks ass. It's so boring and takes forever. I've never seen an episode of VEEP except for the two seconds of the one I'm in.

What if mr. Stoklasa inadvertently stop mr. Evans superstar movie career from stopping him going the next day to the filming of Never Been Kissed ?

Anthony

It's incredible that you found Rich in all that, and that he's that recognisable. All that star power.

James Graham

The Honorable Men guy looks like Ed Gein fucked Sheldon from Big Bang Theory.

Anonymous

Completely lost it during the Mr Bean bit. Hadn't laughed like that in a while. Great ep guys!

The producer of Growing Pains, Steven Marshall, admitted guilty to possession of child porn😔

Katy

Aw come on guys, no uncensored version for the patrons? I can’t read lips!

That story about Never Been Kissed is comedy gold! Being a film/TV extra is sheer hell. I'm only aware of Never Been Kissed because a girl I was in college with gifted me a promotional T shirt that she'd somehow got hold of. She said I could have it because it didn't fit her (that was her excuse anyway!) I took it but then I never ever wore it, because why the hell would you?!? Cursed movie!

Jack F

Okay, I'm so excited to hear your miserable story about being in a fucking carnival scene. I worked on a movie that had a huge carnival scene at night and it sucked because a chunk of the people involved in planning it had no familiarity with working in my state. Instead of using the actual fair grounds that was in town, they built a giant carnival scene about a 20-30 minute drive outside of town. These scenes were supposed to be in the middle of summer in the script but we were filming at the end of October so it was in the mid 30's with some wind most nights and all 400+ extras had to hide their coats during takes. The second night the generators for most of ride lights weren't working and an actor was sick so they sent us home after 3 hours of no shooting. They put extras on rides that couldn't be seen and some of them were screaming on rides during takes, so aside from the fact that the rides were noisy as hell we also had people screaming off camera and it was a pain for sound. There were people on a fucking Ferris wheel in the background that weren't even in focus who were stuck on there for hours in the cold. After a couple nights they had to do a follow up casting call because so many people refused to come back. We had to do a catch up day on the last week on a way smaller set with no extras, that night was far nicer and we were out of there before 2AM after starting at 5PM We did get free rides when our schedule was good on some of those nights and that was pretty cool.

Basically there is 3 comedians and Josh. I'm afraid he needs to take the backseat. Also, the movies are truly terrible. They actually made me uncortable. But the length is not an issue. Where's the four hour cut??

Anonymous

Josh - love and respect ✊🏻 🙌🏻

The HBO series “Extras” could be the best work that Ricky Gervais has ever produced.

Twit In A Hat

I was genuinely surprised that there was not a single mention of Dangerous Men in the entire episode. 0/10 for this episode, I'm afraid. (Naw, I think this is one of my favourite episodes.)
