Hey everyone! Thanks for all the positive comments about the 100th episode of Best of the Worst! It was one of the most fun videos to edit recently. Coming up, we're working on a re:View of the completely forgotten Star Wars/Mad Max rip-off Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone, produced by Ivan Reitman. Why are we doing such a random movie? Why not?! In addition to that, we're working on a video that goes into a bit of detail on our VHS collection and our attempts to organize all this crap. Coming soon!

The 100th was easily one of my favorites and the editing was fantastic

Anonymous

Anonymous

Keep it up you guys, love your work!

Anonymous

We need a video of just your reviews of all Neil Breen movies 🤣🤣🤣

Anonymous

Would love to know if you guys saw "Nobody" and what you may have thought of it!

Anonymous

Lol it's obvious Jay writes the updates

Anonymous

Guys I rewatch the “Our DVD...” & “Our VHS....” collection videos whenever I need a laugh. No judgment please.

Michael Middleton

great update, can't wait to see these upcoming vids

Will there ever be another Vitaly Versace movie review?? I heard rumors of an Aladdin movie.....

Ken_Broth

very excited!

Just finished the 100th BotW, great episode guys. Thanks for these updates as well!

Anonymous

Oh my god guys I absolutely love this episode. There was all the coolness in one episode. Watching you all laughing together makes me feel less alone and between friends. Thank you guys you helped me throughout the lockdown so much.

Anonymous

The 100th episode was just a joy to watch. Its probably a compliment to the editing, but it was just one laugh after another, really non-stop, I loved it.

Anonymous

the latest botw episode was legit one of the greats. up there with the holiday special, and vampire assassin

Ross Nugent

I'd love to see a full video that gives a tour of the RLM office. We see so many bits and pieces of it, but it would be so great to see a walk-thru.

Anonymous

Also I seriously cheered when Fateful Findings was announced and then cried when you all watched the suicides at the end. I'm going to watch it again now and laugh my ass off as I have vaccine side effects on the couch 👍 thank you for everything you Wisconsin dreamboats

House Of Rawlings

Yes! Spacehunter has enough good ideas to warrant a remake or at least that sequel that they tease at the end

Lee

The 100th episode is LEGENDARY!! Me and my friends all loved it and have watched it several times each already :D We always love a re:view but I'm REALLY excited for this VHS collection video. The behind the scenes stuff is my favorite!

Juan Calvo

Are we getting exclusive footage of Rich rewinding all the tapes manually?

Dane Liergaard

Only thing I didn't like about the 100th episode were the side comments about being "done." I assume joking but it still makes me nervous...

Lee

I would love another Vitaly Versace review!!

Anonymous

Looking forward to the VHS collection video!

How about a bandcamp audio commentary for Diamond Cobra vs the White Fox?

Andre K

Some call it crap, some call it art, Mike calls it Black Spine #8

Anonymous

Seems accurate.

Peter Varga

I would walk 500 more!

Daniel Frank

I think I saw Spacehunter in the theater. There was a mini-3D boom in 1982-83 and a friend and I saw every crummy 3D movie (that was PG, of course) that got released.

Anonymous

Keep up the great work! Also, should we keep sending you shitty VHS's?

Anonymous

Thanks for the update. Btw, Your voice levels on the Godzilla vs Kong HITB were too low relative to the move sounds you edited in. I usually fall asleep listening to HITBs, but on that episode the sound effects keep waking me up at a volume where your voices are comfortable. Thanks

Jeff Kleist

Don’t forget Spacehunter was part of the 3D boom, and sadly has not had that version preserved.

Erik Sheedlo

Thank you for changing some of me and my friends habits when watching bad movies. 1) Identifying characters with huge cases of the not gays 2) Finding the best of Shooting the rodeo. Continue God's work...drinking and whatever it is you do!

Anonymous

Fuck yeah

Ryan Morris

I'm all for all of this. Just joined your Patreon after literally 10 years of enjoying your content and am overjoyed that the first post here is talking about what's next. Just the best.

I dragged my long suffering mother to see SpaceHunter in 3D when I was a wee lad.

Anonymous

You guys are the best! All my friends are having kids/getting married so they don’t have time to hang out / talk shit so I really appreciate your content for filling that gap <3

Im waiting for TNG S2+ reviews

Anonymous

That one which we wait for little King Fausto and Oingo Boingo to show up only to be really disappointed

Eileen Herbert

Please say you're going to sort by genre and alphabetize them... Also, I've worked in libraries and book stores so I know about organizing media, I have ideas, hmu lol

Mike St Louis

I actually saw that movie. In the theater. In 3D!

Anonymous

Ugh, always VHS. Don't you hacks understand everything is available on streaming services nowadays.

Anonymous

You guys are amazing!

Anonymous

I can't believe you guys blue balled us on the nukie, although Neil Breen somehow makes up for it.

Anonymous

The DVD and VHS collection videos are mesmerizing. I'm glad you're expanding that universe.

Rhea

I'd never heard of Spacehunter before and certainly didn't expect it to star Molly Ringwald of all people. Any hitb's in mind for the near future?

Anonymous

100 really was one of the funniest things I've seen. THANK YOU!

Tony P.

In the 80s, AMC used to play schlock genre movies for $1.00 on Wednesday mornings. Space Hunter was a mainstay for this event. It's worth watching, from what I remember.

Anonymous

Woohoo! I love the organizational videos.

Alekto989.M41

Fantastic work on the 100th episode! Can't wait for 100 more! Looking forward to all you have in store for us.

Anonymous

The 100th episode was awesome. So much so that I want to bingewatch the whole catalog of BotW... again! Keep it up!

Anonymous

Oh, I love you guys so much. ❤️

Anonymous

I'll always remember the thrill of seeing Spacehunter in 3D at the Times Cinema. I miss those midnight Friday Night Freak Shows.

Robert Daniel Pickard

The Kid Detective is a 99 ¢ rental on iTunes at the moment. It was mentioned on a "Mike and Jay talk about" episode recently

Congratulations, guys! Well-deserved.

Neil Peart, Lord of Drums

"Why are we doing [x]? Why not?" I feel like this has been the reasoning behind much of BotW over the years, to wonderfully disastrous effect!. By the way, in listening to old Pre-Rec streams as podcasts over the last few months, I recently heard Jay say that it takes at least a week to edit BotW videos (probably longer now, as that was like five years ago). That's amazing. Thank you.

Neil Peart, Lord of Drums

If you had asked me before they made that video from a couple of years ago whether I would watch 30 minutes of Mike reading the names of VHS tapes, I would have asked why I would ever do that. Then they made that video and it was hilarious.

d0nkatron 5000

I edit multi-cam synced shoots a lot, like interviews with cutaways and b roll in a similar fashion, and that completely checks out. If they recorded for instance 3 hours of discussion table, on three synced cameras, you’re looking at 9 hours of total footage to look through just there. And that’s only a single once over. Then to actually chunk out and edit down all that material, the rule of thumb is like 4 times the amount of footage time you have to properly pull an edit together of that material. And all of that is just like the “lettuce and tomato” of the overall “burger” of post production on this kind of project 🤯

d0nkatron 5000

Heh. Exactly the same boat as you dude. Just joined late last night before bed, right before sleeping to my playlist of their TNG re:views lol.

Silentphil9

I'm still waiting for the Prince of Darkness Re:View. Like this comment if you want that Re:View. Actually, hit it no matter what.

Manuel Johnen

Actually, I don't want that review, people tend to die after they talk about them... :/

Dachannien

You've already organized your Nukies, so what else is there to do?

AllGoodNamesRGone

These upcoming videos sound interesting. I enjoy when the Re:Views touch on videos that not a lot of people have heard of (i.e. the Re:View of Freaked). Also will be interesting to see what goes into keeping all those tapes organized.

Anonymous

Re:Views are fantastic. Makes me want to watch the movies you guys are talking about or re-watch the ones I saw way back when. Never stop!!!

Lisa

I love when you're part way through and it dawns on you that you actually know what they're talking about but forgot all about it.

Best of the Worst #100 was one of the best in awhile. Loved it!
