Wow what is it about this movie that parents in the 80s/90s let their very young kids watch this film? I too watched this movie with my parent multiple times when I was way too young.

when this movie came out in the UK home release, my dad convinced the local video store owner to let me take home a large 4 ft glow in the dark(!) cut-out cardboard display of this and put it in my bedroom. I had to ask my dad to take it away it I was so freaked out by it at night haha.
