Half in the Bag Episode 155: The Haunting of Hill House and Overlord

Look out for ghosts! Mike and Jay talk about a TV show. But they're not going to talk about every TV show. They're just talking about this TV show. They also talk about Overlord. They will not talk about future Overlord movies because there won't be any because it flopped.

This "Novel in a TV Season" deal is becoming a thing. While the Walking Dead TV is a horrible show (from what i have seen i honestly think everything but the Pilot sucked) i think its a bad example because Robert Kirkmans Idea of the Comic always was the Book that shows you what happens in a Zombie Scenario after the end of the movie. The comic dos that very good for a horror comic. We should have a vote here to force you to watch what we want you to watch. ;)

I know you guys "don't wanna spoil anything", but did you just list the entire plot, list of locations and stand-out scenes of Overlord?

Speaking of TV shows: not that I need you to talk about it, but have either of you seen The Sinner? It's like one of the best series on Netflix, and I really think Jay would enjoy it.

Overlord is fantastic.

You should totes review my tweet asking you to review Maniac and Maniac as well as the original Maniac. That'd break some new ground. :p

Loved those end credits. I was hoping for a random shot of Rich too but without a name credit.

Overlord looks a bit like 'Frankenstein's Army (2013)', a bit more schlocky, but I liked the 'Russian' elements, you should give it a watch.

Doctor Sleep is a good book and has potential to be a damn fine flanagan joint

Really glad I pushed through on The Haunting of Hill House. The first two episodes were a bit rough but the third through fifth were particularly good for connecting with the characters.
