That thumbnail made me rock-hard and I'm a girl

Flesh + Blood is another great Rutger Hauer film. He plays a medieval mercenary, it's directed by Paul Verhoeven, a major plot point is chopping up a dog that died from the Bubonic plague and catapulting it into a castle, and there's only a little bit of rape.

Rich did a good job hosting! He might not be the next Tom Snyder, but he could definitely be the next Magic Johnson.

God I love Blind Fury. Hauer has done so many good movies, and good performances in awful movies. Check out Soldier of Orange.

I could do with more Len Kabazinski on the show cause it leads to more ninja flicks and that is my jam, my jelly, my peanut butter, and my toast

Is re:View replacing Half in the Bag episodes about older films, such as Godzilla '98 and the original Robocop?

Wow! Couldn't believe I remembered this from '89. The elevator scene made me remember. A 9 year old me loved this. A me now would probably hate it. Good episode.

I had forgotten about this film, loved it when it came out. Hauer really was underappreciated. Funny goof in the film, you can see it at around the 15 min mark here. When the cop gets his hand cut off, it cuts to the frame blowing up, then back to a wide shot with the cop reeling back. Miraculously, his had has been reattached! Movie magic... very cool.

The Elevator scene was stolen for a scene in Deadpool. So after this Re:View, I watched Deadpool again LOL.

re:View is actually turning me on to a bunch of great films that I've never seen or heard discussed before. This, The Mist, True Stories...

I was not aware of this movie until now. It looks really fun. I will definitely put it on my list which is too feel-bad movie heavy.

I remember watching this movie on VHS with my dad when I was like 12. Good stuff. Question: did Rutger Hower's appearance in 'Observer' remind you guys that he still exists? I always think of this crazy movie when his name comes up, even before I think of bladerunner, haha.

I love Len and Rich and enjoyed being reminded of and going to rewatch this movie, but really, good job Jay, that was some serious work.
