Demonic Toys (and a lil' more Puppet Master) - re:View

We gave up on the Puppet Master series. Sorry to disappoint the three of you that were looking forward to our opinions on Puppet Master: Axis of Evil. Instead, we decided to switch focus to the far superior tiny killer dolls movie Demonic Toys! And to segue into that, we also watched the non-canon crossover masterpiece Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys. Happy Halloween! This year, we've given you a rock in your candy bag.

Oh nice, I thought it was a two-parter. Glad to see more of that discussion.

Can't wait to watch!

Awesome. This has been an entire month of Christmas.

Just the memories of me watching all the Puppet Master movies, I don't know if I even have enough energy to watch this episode.

Well, I don’t know if Jay would like Babylon 5 but Mike and Rich might. Tracy Scoggins shows up near the end of the show’s run. She plays a tough, no-nonsense Earthforce commander. You hate her at first but then you get to understand her. It’s a fantastic show full of engaging characters and plot lines.

Tom McGraw

perfect way to end the day!

That Barton Fink mention made me very happy, not only my favourite Coen but also one of my favourite movies of all time. Doesn't get the attention it deserves I feel like.

They were also one of the early (if not the first) practitioner of the season/show-wide storyline and things in each episode had consequence. If there was a big battle at the station in an episode, the next episode featured clean-up from that battle. My favorite example was there was an episode in Season 1 where a MacGuffin could magically cure people (at the cost of stealing "life force" from the machine-user). The cliffhanger for Season 1 was that the security chief got shot. Between seasons, fans posted "Why don't they just use the MacGuffin?" And by golly, they used the MacGuffin! (TNG, we'd never see the MacGuffin again)

I hope there's a part 4 with a re:View of 'Dolls' too!

I am prepared to start commenting under each Patreon post about A Snowglobe Christmas, an Asylum movie from 2013. It would be a perfect BOTW Christmas movie, and like no one has covered it online. It’s beyond the pale.

I just had an amazing idea for a new gimmick, wanted to take the show on the road, I think Jack , Mac, and Patton owe some payback.

they need to do battle code Santa Claus another movie in French that was almost certainly an inspiration for home alone and an inspiration to have Mac back
