That last line about Baywatch says more about the movie than I think anyone will ever know.

I've been watching a lot of Alien video essays recently ,and I've yet to see one that mentions Aliens being a metaphor for America during the Vietnam War, Alien 3 after the height of the AIDS epidemic where the victim was to blame, or Alien 4 after a sheep was cloned. You can nitpick the story all you want, but it doesn't negate the fact that because of these films being creatively bankrupt reflects our society as spiritually bankrupt.
