A Special Thank You for Supporters Past (Patreon)

Dear Listeners,

I just went through the HV Patreon exit surveys and I’m deeply moved. I wanted to write a quick thank you letter to our supporters past, future, and present.

Out of all of the people who filled out exit surveys, the majority of those who left a comment said that they were leaving due to financial hardship. We had notes about people being laid off, the burden of medical expenses, and heartbreaking comments about personal struggles.

We wanted to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has ever had to cancel due to the pressures exerted by the nightmare we’re all pushing through. That you’ve supported us at all is more moving than words can ever express.

The support we’ve gotten has helped me through some serious housing insecurity and being able to create this program has been a welcome port in rough seas. We know how this goes and we’ve both been right there with you.

Thank you for all of the support that you’ve given us and continue to give us. It really does make the show a possibility.
