Re: Comics and Marvel Movies, have you ever read Christopher Priest's run on Black Panther? It's famous for being the one that re-invented the character for the modern era, but I bring it up because in that one Killmonger is the bad guy because he's the capitalist. KM invites international corporations into Wakanda, and that's part of him being evil within the comic. Meanwhile in the movie KM is bad for being too radical, and BP is funding private charter schools or whatever the fuck in the end.

Horror Vanguard

I haven't read that run, but it sounds legit. The ending of the BP movie was a huge downer for me. It felt just like Obama's Presidential Center being built in Franklin Park, Chicago. Ultimately, there is a lot of fear in the community that it will just serve to further gentrify the area and force residents out. I can't imagine that Black Panther Center or whatever not having the same outcome. -Ash
