I don't think Ippo is too nice for boxing. I would say he's a goody-goody like Takamura said lol. He's a stickler for the rules and has a deep respect for the sport. Maybe the fact that because Ippo doesn't have that aggressive(killer) attitude, it makes it seem like he's not compatible with boxing. I say it's more about the heart, the determination, and the courage to step into that ring and giving it all you got that makes Ippo perfect for the sport. He proves it time and time again and this match is no different. Also, the timing of the video stopping on you was impeccable lol.
