From what I can gather in this episode, Jr. is mad that his dad made life and death separate, cause he felt the terror his people felt when they were about to die.

That entire backstory wasn't in the manga and explained so many plot holes for manga readers. You will see what what Ichibei meant by taking his sight away and that backstory even explained why Yhwach lost 1000 years ago.
