We’ve only seen the sky split when yonko’s clash. Example shanks v whitebeard, roger v whitebeard, Kaido v big mom most recently. This was something the fandom had been waiting for a long time awesome shot

He has 8 heads and lost 7 now, the Orochi-snake cant regrow heads like the Hydra so he is dead if he loses one more.

I see the reason pacing is why it is, this isn’t a seasonal anime it constantly producing episodes with occasional breaks here and there.

The significance of the sky clashing means luffy is up to yonko level. Rodger and white beard, shanks and white beard, kaido and big mom and now luffy vs kaido clash

The pacing was alright. It will never be to the speed of a seasonal anime so this is the best we can work with. The one piece live action if it does well and makes it to this point ever will Definitely be fast paced

I dunno. They dragged some stuff out, but if that's the price we've gotta pay for the crispy animation we've been getting I'm alright with it. Plus it is going to make the ultimate payoff extra satisfying.

It's honestly irritating I can understand if he was at least a threat and him being alive meant trouble but the guy just annoying and serves not real purpose constantly coming back other than to get on the viewer nerves

the honest truth is that there will always be pacinng issues to some degree. Unless we are talking about those rare episodes like 1015, 1017, or even 982. But even with these episodes, I remember people criticizing the pacing. It is what it is. This episode was peak imo, the only part that felt a bit dragged out was the Dog storm and Cat Viper attacks. But that's just me nitpicking.
