The last we saw was Thorfinn being man handled away from Askeladd's corpse as he desperately clinged to him. In the process losing grip of his fathers dagger signifying it's time to let go of the past. Leaving him in his current state empty. Looking forward to see if he can come back from this and it what new goal he'll focus on. I personally hope he can see his sister and mother. (I'm anime only btw)

It's begun! First episode started off strong, I'm liking the OP and ED alot too! This is probably the first anime that Netflix is actually releasing week by week! Looks like they got the message when they fumbled the bag with batch releases.

In the final episodes of season 1, Thorfin had his spirit crushed and old man Leif was about to take him back home. Thorfin then ran away right before they left and that’s the last we saw of Thorfin.
