The Scene where Robin destroys the illusions were SO MUCH Better in the Manga.. In the manga it looked like she is crying and happy that they are back and believing that they are real. Turning next page, you see her cold eyes closed look, where she just randomly says: ''But it's such a shame, that these illusions dont work'' baam she destroys them. Would recommend you to read that scene in the manga.. its so much better.

I didn't even notice Robins moms belt! If you look back at the series there's a lot of references to the sun or straight up the sun is in the background of Luffy. When he beat Arlong, Crocodile, and Enel the sun is shining in the background. When he uses Conquerors haki the first time it pans to the sun. When Jimbei gives him blood it pans to fishes swimming towards the sun over the surface. Even when he lost to Crocodile or in Sabaody the sun was setting. He's fighting Kadio on a fullmoon which only happens when the sun is illuminating one whole side. Blackbeard is bad and is darkness, and Luffy is his opposite. I'm sure there's more examples but this is some really good set up

All the flash backs and prior information from previous arcs are all tying together now. The sun the robin flashbacks are huge info later down the road. Yes there was a fox fruit already ole girl from black beards crew has it.

probably just like how luffy ate the devil fruit. Shanks didn't gave luffy but luffy took it for himself cause he was hungry. Same goes for yamato
