Few fun facts. Gaban is 3rd in command after raylegh and roger. What roger said to WB and oden is the same scene to what luffy said to ace and sabo and whatever they said was cut off. So I wonder what do they truly desire.

The thirteen years was since Roger made it to Loadstar Island, at this point in the story it had been twelve years since the Rocks pirates were defeated. Roger and Whitebeard probably had a lot of run-ins between then and now.

I feel like this was Oda's first hints at something strange going on. Maybe he is like Hakuba, and has 2 people inside him, and so one is always active? Could help explain the two fruits thing.

yea oda wants us to pay attention that teach has never sleep since he was born...also what roger told whitebeard and oden is prob the same thing luffy told ace and sabo, so there dream might be more than just being the pirate king

What if Luffy contracts the illness and Law offered to use his fruit's special ability? Luffy would prob deny the offer. Dang, makes me think if Luffy did die from the illness, maybe Brook would stay by his grave playing Bink's sake

Not my observation but noteworthy after this episode. Luffy in Drum Island (the arc where Blackbeard is "introduced"): People in winter islands do not sleep. I heard it from a pirate in a bar. Not many options for the bar here and we know of only one pirate that Luffy met before he set sail.

In the manga WB tilts the seas when he got mad. Luffy and Roger have a dream they told Ace Sabo Oden WB we don't know about. On to Laugh Tale!
