So O-Lin is pretty much Linlin when she was a little innocent kid. That new haki was Ryou, what Old man Hyou has been trying to teach him (basically, advanced armament Haki). Also remember Rayleigh said, haki grows in the battlefield; Luffy about to die with Hyou made him grow.

This episode proved that Luffy at the start of Wano is Commander level. Kaido One shot Luffy, and Big Mom Two-Shot Queen, who is an Ancient Zoan. (zoans get a overall durability boost) So everything checks out.

I think Big Mom not succumbing to her Hunger Pang by now just means it’s mostly psychological. Just like a child throwing a tantrum over something they are not getting right away. So with her memories gone, this version of Big Mom (Olin), I assume she will not go into that state. At least not until she regains her memories, which she will sooner or later. I’m betting sooner haha.

luffy unlocked the haiki he has been trying to unlock throughout the whole fights remember, and old man always told fluffy that he would unlock it in a time of crises

Heres some food for thought, hasnt been confirmed yet, but if you connect the dots. That Ryou, or advanced armament haki, is the same that was used by Raleigh back on Saboady at the auction house, when he saved Cami the mermaid from her collar. Luffy just did the same for their collars this episode.

The power Luffy did was the Ryou that he's been trying to learn for the past few of episodes. Remember the power Old man Hyou showed him when they fought Alpaca man and the Care Bear smile guy
