The reason why people call Ushijima with the nickname Ushiwaka is basically because is the union of part of is name and part of is surname Wakatoshi

If you have the time you should also watch the ova that shows the aftermath of the match from Oikawa’s point of view.

Ushiwaka is from USHIjima WAKAtoshi. It's his nickname. I used to call him Ushikawa though lol maybe from Oikawa. Can't wait for season 3!!! I enjoy rewatching these with you!

The feels for the opposing team are there because they actually got a good backstory and aren't some red shirts you have to play against. And the OST does everything remaining! At the beginning you mentioned how you would just watch it in your own pace. Well I can't understand how you can only watch two to 3 episodes a week (I know editing and family etc.), but I would die if I had to watch it in blocks like you .... For example if I reread the Manga I can't stop reading right in a match. I have to stop between matches :D I don't know how you have planned ahead or what your mods told you etc. but I would splitt those 10 episodes on 4 weeks. 2 next week, 3 the following, in the 3rd you should do 2 again and you probably should do the last three (8/9/10) together. And then there is season 4 part 1 waiting :D Niche reaction as always!

I'm so glad you're loving this series! It truly is one of my favorites. Yeah, this last match was intense and everytime I see it, my heart still breaks for Aoba because their third years will never have another shot at taking Ushijima down together. But, the way I see it, they had three years to try to beat him (5 years for Iwaizumi and Oikawa) and they still couldn't do it. They had their chance and now it's Karasuno's turn. Shiratorizawa has no idea what's coming for them. Season 3 hype!!!!!!
