YOU GUYS I WAS SO LOST ON THE FIRST EPISODE!! LOL Also I decided to continue with watching in subbed. I gave dub a chance but I just couldn't do it. You will see in the beginning. If you don't want to see my reaction to the dubbed I would just skip to 5:47 of the reaction because that is where the actual reaction begins.

Jun Fukuyama as Lelouch cannot be matched. His performance in Code Geass is top tier.

I love the dub and prefer it to the sub for Code Geass but it all comes down to opinion. Maybe she should have tried the dub earlier before she got used to the sub but most times it's hard to switch voices once you're used to what you're hearing.

I see you were confused by episode 1 as we expected lol. I remember watching this when it aired and the confusion was especially bad because we had to wait a week to get episode 2. I was much younger back then but I remember being so mad at that lmao.

Great reaction the confusion was to be expected I was confused the first time I watched it until episode 2 and I already hated suzaku but my hate went up after seeing him take lelouch to the one his biggest enemy and let him take what he loves must from him I thought when I see suzaku again I'll kill him then and there bullet to the head than the heart just because it feels so good to put your bitch as down would have shot him until the gun was empty reload and repeat

watch this episode 2 with dubs to see the diffrence. Subs have many mistakes in tranlation

No, they really don't. They just translate subs and dubs differently.

Awesome I really wanted you to watch it subbed because I think the subbed is better than the dub

Yeah, if you spent the entire first season watching subbed, you're probably not going to like dubbed based on the fact the voices are so different.

Agree with you Allona, not to mean that dub is bad but I always prefer the originality to every show or movie I wathced. In example if I watch English cartoon or movie I always prefer to hear it in English rather than being dubbed to my own native language (Indonesian), and when I watch Indonesian movie or cartoon I always liked it voiced by Indonesian language. And it's always the same with Japanese movie or anime I'd rather watched it in it's original language which is Japanese.

Thats a valid point, but how about if the anime itself is set in a world based off of American and English culture? Wouldn't you rather here the dub voices then? I prefer the dub over sub for Code Geass anyway, but the show is so great that its amazing in both sub and dub. That's hard to do for most anime 💯 🔥
