Hope you all enjoy this read through. There were a couple of things that I preferred in the manga over the anime but I still haven't experienced anything detrimental to my anime viewing experience. I can say I do really enjoy reading though and how quick everything unwraps. Looking forward to reading the next chapters. :-)

Not for awhile I have to get the other shows out first since I did do double for it already.

Jojo? I really want you to get to part 5 XD (preferably before the year ends)

Yo you gotta put on a video with One Piece OST playing in the background. I always put on the epic tracks when new chapters come out lol :D

I was thinking about that. But I didn't know how ppl would take to the music in the background. For My next read through I have many ideas for it, so I may try that out too. 😁

now you see why other people and especially myself were pissed and didn't like the anime episode because they revealed Bat-man's true power (infinite arrows and being able to block an armament Haki punch from someone who is considered an emperor in One Piece world with ease ) way earlier than expect. Since they left Bat-man in the dust in here because he was meant to show his true powers after Kaido got his ass kicked. Also why we really hated the anime for sumo fight because it took 3 episodes

Yea. That is true. But I can say from an entertainment point of view I could see what they were trying to do in the anime, but they do have to keep in mind how it will affect the story. So I totally see what you mean.

I love these "manga read throughs", It's always great to listen to your opinion about any other anime, but with these in particular they're even more polarizing to me, listening to your thoughts about the manga and Oda's writing, not only that but as well to your thoughts about the differences between the Manga and the Anime is a true joy, (since I enjoy both). Keep it up! Your reading voice is AMAZING!

Loved this and glad you started supporting the official release. You should defintely go back and check out all the cover stories that are cannon to the story but have been ignored on the anime.

I think it's just a matter of expectation. Manga readers read the chapter first, so when they watch an episode, they expect things to process a certain way. And when Toei drags it out to buy time, it certainly would tick people off. On the other hand, Anime watcher starts an episode with little to no expectation of pacing. And like you said, entertainment-wise, the OP anime is not that bad either. It's just really hard to be satisfied when the manga is so gratifying. About Holdem not noticing Luffy, I think I have commented on this before. Even if Holdem is part of the Beast Pirate, it's unlikely he has experience in the outside world. Kaido has been operating in Wano for 20 years, so the ones who are really from the outside are those who should have been with him for at least 20 years. I would imagine them to be higher rankers. Of course, there are special cases like Hawkins, but his reaction to Luffy is clearly shown right away, in the same chapter, so this is definitely not a plot hole. It is probably safe to assume that any new Beast pirate members we come across don't know of Luffy and co. NOT A SPOILER! As for Kiku's behavior, I think it can be explained with the attitude of Kin'emon towards Nami in Punk Hazard. It's unclear how much Wano has changed after 20 years, but Kiku and Kin'emon came from the same period of time where women were assumed to be weak and fragile. They can't speak up or disagree with men (Kin'emon was furious at the way Nami fired at him). A feminines samurai wielding a sword should be something unheard of. And while Kiku was a part of Oden's followers, she certainly does not seem like the type to act on her own accord. All of that probably made her reluctant to initiate actions regardless of her actual ability.
