So yes lelouch is britannian and suzaku is japanese. Also clovis is the third prince of britannia hes not actually the king or emperor. And also the Duke thing was just a cover lelouch used to trick that soldier. Your other questions will be answered in time but hope it clears up some of the confusion. And personally i never rly enjoyed mecha either but code geass was the first one that i enjoyed alot.

Regardless of the difference in perceived quality, the dub definitely seems like it is easier for new viewers to follow at least initially. Some of the subtitle choices are a bit obtuse

I haven't watch it yet since there are so many Code Geass anime which makes me confuse.. I heard in one of them the ending was really sad. I hope its not this one. I watch anime for a happy conclusion to relieve stress.

Lol pronouncing Code Geass is a challenge for newcomers. My friends and I call it Code Gayass, out of love of course :,D Also I hated the idea of mechanical robot fighter animes as well and I still kinda do... but Code Geass is more about what goes on behind the fights. The story and politics of this world are really cool, and I did find myself enjoying the robot machine thing fights after a while as well :)

also did any1 notice the long green hair hiding behind a tree just b4 lelouch was pulled up by suzaku, mayb was the girl forgot her name that gave him his power, she also said from in the tank with telepathy "ive found you. my..." so seems she likely did know him from when he was a kid and kept watch over him :) and he already knew kallen was his queen, his most precious and versatile piece on his board (no spoiler only know shes a plot char) ;D <3

The ending is a suitable, a masterpiece among animes/manga this is my favorite along with one piece. People like death note but code geass is much better overall you won't regret it and will change your heart forever

Hey Allona if you have Netflix they recently added Code Geass to it. I'm not sure if you'll be able to react to it on Netflix or not, but that can be another option if you're worried about Quality
