You guys!! I am so HAPPY to have my Zoro back!! It's also so good to see the rest of the crew members. It was hilarious to watch Nami instant transmission kick Luffy and poor  Chopper being scared as hell while Luffy drag them up the waterfall. Also I hope we get to know who that octopus was. Luffy was a bit not too worried about him when they seen him. This makes me believe that the Octopus may not have been a bad guy but more so a guide to get the crew to Wano. 
P.S.  - If you guys hear me call Kanjuro, Tanjiro just ignore my slowness. lol

yes wano is finally here. btw, this arc will focus on zoro because the last arc was about sanji, so I have a feeling that this arc will be about zoro because he is in the land of swords. also, I can't wait to see him go all out like he did before Timeskip because he hasn't gone all out after the time-skip

the octopus actually was only used to serve as a drum to support for the Japanese theme of Wano, I think.

Just finished watching the reactions and let me say this. you know she loved demon salyer when she calls kanjuro "Tanjiro". Also, yes it is water in general, for example even taking a bath if the water reaches a certain level they become weak. this is especially an issue for crocodile since even a drop of water can make his body solidify and then anyone can hit/touch his actual body.

carps leaping up a waterfall is actually a thing, theres even a proverb thats describes it, it goes "The carp has leaped over the dragon's gate". which is very fitting

Ty Allona for these 3 episodes. And Wano Arc is like a Kabuki theather divide in Arcs, with the music and all the drama :D I think the Octupus was like the intro? Playing the japanese drums and the girl playing too. So far I love this arc style and the music.

Allona's smile when Zorojuro rubbed his abs 😂. The character were probably thinking of when mentioning a ronin was Kenshin Himura from Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X. They mentioned the freshwater only for the koi fish since they cant survive in saltwater, so the crew just notice that they're In freshwater now.

You are correct about the artstyle being changed. Considering wano is going to be like feudal japan, They went extra hard on the artstyle FOR wano. So yes, the change of art style is quite good actually.

I'm pretty certain the lead animator is the guy who did the most recent Dragon Ball Broly movie. The general look between the two are very similar and I know I read that this was the case somewhere

they changed the director of animation extra for the wano kuni arc its the same animator who animated the new broly movie

Oda clarified in a SBS once that any large body of water will affect a DF user. Both fresh water and salt sea water. But not wave splashes or rain (since they are smaller bodies of water). Also, if a devil fruit power is related to water the user will not be affected by the water type of their powers (for example, ice for Aokiji)

They overhauled the animation, art style and line art for the Wano arc because it's gonna be really long.

The Wano arc has three directors : the man in charge of the Snakeman episode, the woman in charge of the Soul Pocus episode (huge Zorofan) and the man who was in charge of Film Z and involed in Broly.

when you saw usopp did that sword thing, it seemed to me that he had a really blunt sword and pressed really hard on his arm to make a lil mark so that "toad oil" could easily work = scam lolol

was amaaazing, u made it even better allona :D any water affects them, but sea water more so probably, tho mayb fresh water is only 80% as effective but ofc still more than enough to inhibit any df user, waste deep is the limit to have a similar effect as sea prism stone, all shown and explained in crocs prison with smoker in alabasta :)

Oda mentioned in an sbs that it is any standing water above knee height, so rain and showers are fine but baths are not. This is also why they were weak in the bath house in flim Z.

Soon you have to join rest of us mortals and get by with only one episode per week.. Might be a bit jarring experience at first, but you will get used to it, for better or worse.

The bit with the carp climbing up the waterfall is a real thing. There is even an ancient Chinese/Japanese legend where a koi fish that manages to climb a waterfall is rewarded by being turned into a dragon. They also are commonly associated with samurai in Japan making them quite fitting for the samurai country in OP.

You're pretty lucky to be caught up in wano. It's so good, and so far very well paced. so waiting for episodes weekly isn't so bad, as it won't take forever to get somewhere.
