You guys episode 19 really pulled on my heart strings. Everything about it was beautiful. From the animation, the music, the story telling, and Nezuko coming in clutch. JUST EVERYTHING!!!!!!! My fave episode so far from Demon Slayer. HANDS DOWN!!!

Episode 19 is something special. I also didn't even realise that Nezuko spoke for the first time (even though it's just saying a technique) since she got turned into a demon.

It's not really the sword that's stronger it's more of the how good the swordsman is. Remember how tanjiro wasn't able to cut the boulder until he became stronger.

Also I didn't notice this at first until I decided to take a good look at the characters, but did you notice that the patterned half of Giyuu Tomioka's Haori is the same pattern that Sabito wore? I thought that was a cool detail foreshadowing that they might have been students around the same time.

Episode 19 was filthy good I mean, how is it even possible to make a viewer cry after just 19 episodes??? The animation and the soundtrack.. gosh it gotta be one of the best episodes in all of anime (this year atleast) imo lol

After about the 3rd time I watched Episode 19, I noticed how his color-changing sword seemed to start turning into the red sword that Haganezuka had hoped to see when he first gave Tanjiro the sword. They mention that the color black is rare so not much is known about them. Now after 19 I've started to wonder if it only turns black if someone is capable of using multiple different types of breathing techniques or something. And if so, since Urokodaki mentioned that he had never seen a blade as pitch black as Tanjiro's...I'm curious if Tanjiro will eventually be able to use all the different breathing techniques and switch between them seamlessly during battle.
