New Steam Alpha Branch for Scarlet Hollow! (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

Thank you so much for all of the thorough bug reports on the first alpha build – just about everything has been patched! We hope you had fun playing ^^

A couple patrons reached out after having trouble opening the Mac application in the download, so we've gone ahead an set up a Steam alpha branch as an alternative way to distribute builds. To download that branch, go into your Steam library and find Scarlet Hollow, right click the application, and click properties, then navigate to the "betas" tab. In that tab, there'll be a prompt asking you to enter a password. The password for the current alpha build is: "determination"

We'll be swapping those passwords out with new builds and sharing them here.

I've also attached a visual guide for enabling this build. If you have a Steam copy of Scarlet Hollow, this is probably the best way to get new alpha builds, since it will patch your game rather than requiring a full download.

The server does have a minimum account age (currently 5 hours) to prevent spam, so keep that in mind. I also have to manually check in with the Google form to add accounts to those channels, so please be patient if it takes a little bit to get things sorted!
