Birthday Special- Middle School OCs (Patreon)

It's that time again, the time when I feel the need to draw the characters from my middle school novel (well, novella. It was like 100 pages.) And because it's my birthday, you HAVE to listen to me! Those are the rules.

It was all about the lion girl, Alabaster, who was put in charge of making sure no evil forces in the universe became too strong.  The bat guy was originally supposed to fulfill that role, but he was not good at it and fell into despair and became evil, and she has to stop him. She can also fly through space, because I hate drawing and thinking about spaceships and really never should have written a Space Epic.

The guy in the striped shirt was the human version of my real life cat, Mud. I miss that cat! And the other two alongside Alabaster are some alien buddies she picked up along the way, a tall fuzzy fish man and a small porcupine dude who looks suspiciously like the Mystics from Dark Crystal. 

And the guy on the far right is the first villain Alabaster encounters (while she's still on Earth), and is secretly the boy at school she has a crush on!! Who was based on a real boy I had a crush on whoops. Which was a little awkward when I presented an illustrated version of this story to a class he was in. He took it in incredible stride, though, and we are still friends to this day.

Also, Alabaster doesn't have wings all the time because when she doesn't need them they slip into a pocket dimension in her back, leaving only six feathers exposed (because I didn't know how to draw wings very well and didn't wanna have to do it all the time)
