Sistertime Podcast-- Deleted Scene (Patreon)

In this deleted segment, Maddie and I discuss the recent horror movie The Witch, and Maddie wanted to keep it in but I wanted to get that podcast down below 35 minutes and also this is way off topic and ALSO I was afraid that the Horror Gatekeepers would tell me I was an "idiot" who "clearly didn't understand the film", which has happened to a few ladies I know who were less than pleased with it.

I again, want to reiterate, it's a good movie. It's one that horror and general film snobs alike can agree is good. But don't tell me what I SHOULD have felt about it, or what message I was SUPPOSED to take away if only I understood it CORRECTLY. Because guess what, my feelings and my opinions of this film are just as valid as yours, and maybe you don't understand what it's like having your opinions constantly "corrected" to what they're supposed to be based on what a man thinks. 

It took me a long time to get to a point where I realized I could form my own opinions and didn't have to change them so no one got mad at me for disagreeing with them! I am still not quite there and I do feel really dumb sometimes when some dude is talking down to me about why I should actually like whatever movie made me feel angry.
