Scarlet Hollow: new indie game out now! (Patreon)

Phew, I can FINALLY talk about what I've been working on all these months. My spouse and I founded a game studio, and the first episode of our first game was released for FREE on Steam and itchio yesterday!

Scarlet Hollow is a horror visual novel and adventure game where your choices deeply matter. Hand-drawn backgrounds and sprites work together with a complex relationship system to bring to life an immersive world of charming (and terrifying) characters. Who lives, who dies, and the fate of an entire town rests on your shoulders.  Return to the town your mother tried to protect you from and unravel a mystery that spans generations in... Scarlet Hollow.

So that's why I've been drawing all those elaborate backgrounds lately, and why I haven't been able to post much more than that.

This is the first of seven episodes, and we'll be launching a Kickstarter next week to help fun the next few years of development. You can follow the Kickstarter's landing page to make sure you're updated as soon as it goes live so's you can hop on limited or time-sensitive tiers :O
