Hello Everyone,

Last month one of my  HR6 patrons requested that I balance/create a final version of a weapon they came up with. This weapon was created for one of their players to use and I wanted to make it available to all of you as well.

The wire knuckles are designed for a PC that uses unarmed strikes (mainly monks, but it could work with any class that does it). It is designed to be a defensive/control style weapon that uses movement to avoid additional attacks or other effect. It also makes use of the wirebug to allow grappling of larger creatures; eventually letting you ride on and control kind of like the clutch claw.

I don't know if I will put this directly into AGtMH because I want to avoid bloating the weapon list too much (same reason I've avoided a couple others I have made from requests), but I do think this weapon is completely usable in a MH style game without breaking any balance.

So hopefully some of your monk or other unarmed strike players will enjoy this weapon and I want to thank you all for your support!

PS: I only had one monster request this month so I am going to delay updating the request manual until the end of this month.

PPS: I have a request in this month I believe for a Halloween themed monster hunt. Though its not technically an official request yet, if it does happen I will try and get that out at least a week before Halloween so you can all run it if you want before the holiday.

More hope wirebug to be a single system than a weapon. Another question, Snake Salmon say that you have advantage on Wisdom(Athletics) checks to catch fish, but in Resource part fishing depend on Strength(Athletics) or Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check, which one is right? Same for Poogiechops.

It is Strength Athletics, I will need to fix that. I'll put it in my notes, appreciate the catch. The wirebug honestly doesn't really work in 5e as a single system in my opinion. it is one of the reason's I have never created something for it. It is kind of the same thing for the clutch claw. It would give everyone a dash as a bonus action more than anything, which steps on too many class features imo. It works in pf2e as a trait for specific feats with how I am doing the weapons over there.

Any suggestions for special materials and drops to upgrade this in similar fashion to the other weapons?
