Toph Heavy Part 3 - Page 15 - Final (Patreon)

I meant to post this yesterday, but God of War Ragnarok is awfully distracting. Also, we had our first shovel-worthy snowfall yesterday, and that got in the way. So this took about two days to re-render and clean up. I'm happy with the result.

You'll notice that this page has a ton of dialogue now. Let me go through why I added all of this. It began with something very simple. Laziness. I didn't want to draw a background. I liked the blue background, but it sort of implied that Toph was doing this out in the open. Second, it let me explain Toph's thinking a bit in this section. Truthfully, that thinking is all a contrived justification that just works out. I added this section on the ship solely because I wanted to draw more Tiddy Toph paizuri. I mean with this character design, and this comic, I thought there should be more of it, and there wasn't enough of it with Azula. I like it when my natural inclination towards a thing, in this case wanting a section for paizuri, allowed me to do a lot more. Several Birds. One stone. It also let me get a little meta, and that was fun. There is someone watching them; you guys. That's fitting for this page because this was part of the cameo tier. The guy is an OC from a patron. Aside from the larger roles I auctioned off on twitter, this patron was the only one that took me up on the cameo tier, so it felt like the patrons' page and therefore a slightly meta-commentary felt appropriate. This also let me touch on the idea that since Toph senses everything, to her everyone is an exhibitionist. It's why she's so open about her promiscuity. Finally, it was always intended that Toph kinda gets off on the idea that she controls men so thoroughly with her body. I think I mentioned it before. I'll probably mention it again. I just wanted to touch on it at least once more in the comic.

Once again, I may edit this if I see any glaring issues, but I don't see any right now.
