Toph Heavy Part 3 Update (Patreon)

So here's an update on Toph Heavy Part 3 in case you were wondering. Right now I'm in the process of Thumbnailing out the comic. This part takes really long for me because I'm really bad at paneling. I keep going back and redoing things. Just a few days ago I edited out about 7 pages because they weren't working. I also finish the thumbnails completely before I start sketching so I have a guide week to week. It's kind of like my visual bible for the comic. I'd share it as I was making it, but its literally just stick figures, panels, and word bubble guides. Not worth.

I am also building "sets" for the background in 3D.  I've been inspired by other artists using rudimentary 3D objects to map out scenes in their comics. (See Incase) and that's what I'm going for. I don't want it to be a crutch or used for tracing in a way that undermines my artistic integrity.  My big fear using 3D is making things look artificial, so I'm taking care to make sure that won't happen.  

I will start posting pages starting October 1st. This was supposed to happen earlier, but COVID 19 happened and I have elderly parents that come first. I'm sorry for keeping you waiting for so long. Expect a charge on October 1st.

I will try to keep posting until Part 3 is finished, but some months may only feature two pages instead of four. (I will do my best to prevent this from happening.)

If you're curious about the content. The early pages of Part 3 will dovetail into Part 1. Part 3 will be longer than Part 2 and feature way more Futazula. Oh, and those two guards from Part 1 definitely aren't dead. Hint Hint. However, Part 3 will conclude the Futazla "arc" of Toph Heavy, but Toph heavy won't be over.

If you want some idea as to where it's going after Azula  I hid a "hint" on Toph's letter in Part 2.
