It has been a long four months (Patreon)

I want to start by saying how frustrating it is to start writing, have something happen, then be forced to stop or even worse, lose any motivation to pick back up for far too long. The past few months were like that, in which I took finals, visited family, and planned a bit of a break before getting sick, staying sick for nearly two months, getting no news from doctors at all then just getting better without having any clue why I was ill enough to be hospitalized three times in the first place. From there, I hit a nice writer's block, struggled to start writing, and am still kind of in limbo whether or not I'll have the time to do so even when I'm just now getting the motivation back. Without boring you too much, in just the past week alone I've had a coronavirus scare (I tested negative twice and it's been two weeks since I last interacted with the coworker who had it, or even since they've been at work) and gotten news that my grandmother was hospitalized and had to get emergency brain surgery (she's recovering now, thankfully). Anyway, I'm sorry, I wanted to write and I still do, but I can't make any promises for the moment and I might just take down this patreon entirely for the forseeable future. Until I'm decided, though, I'll be uploading chapters as they're written and pausing pledges for a while. Thank you for your patience.
