Are you meant to be able to scroll forward in the story, but not backward? I'm really liking this game, just wondering if this is a bug or meant to be that way

ah yeah so i made it so you can 'skip' forward but you can't 'skip' back this time, since i wanted the choices to not be changeable! but you should only be able to 'skip' forward if you've read the text already (unless you change the settings to allow skipping all text)
