Maruten's Birthday! (Patreon)

Hello Patrons! Did you know it is my birthday today?

Around this time coincidentally is also the beginning of "Maruten". Two years ago, I was completing the "Switch Gaymers" illustration (the rough drawing is pictured above), and I published the final artwork on Pixiv the day after my birthday. It was also that day I started my Twitter account. 

Back then, I was both excited and terrified about going into NSFW art territory. The first few months was a struggle and I was very anxious. This Patreon was started the following February and growth was slow, but steady. I could not have imagined how things would evolve over two years. It really is amazing to have so many fans and followers to encourage me, as difficult as creating animation can be! I am also amazed at how positive my audience has been through these last two years.

With the pandemic still getting worse, it's put a bit of a damper on my celebrations this year, as I can't hang out with friends and family. But safety is much more important at this time. I have been reflecting on my relationships and how grateful I am for my friends and family. I have also reflected on my art and my relationship with my audience. I am very grateful for my patrons, and for my followers on other platforms. I wouldn't continue making this animation without your support!
