It's time for another poll. I hope the question is clear enough, but let me give some insight.

To be able to animate a lot in a short amount of time, some corner-cutting is bound to happen. The more lines a drawing has, the longer it takes to do, and it multiplies for how long the animated project is. On one hand, I like detailed animated pieces, but on the other, I like stories, situations, acting and character.

For Switch Gaymers, it is a loop of only a few drawings, but the detail and technical difficulty is high. Though the situation is hot, there is no beginning or end... that is, there is no orgasm shot.

For The Waiter Is Hot, the detail is economised, shading is taken out in favour of more scenes and more drawings. This gives more opportunity for acting as well. It lacks the detail that Switch Gaymers has.

While each of those were completed within a month, Star Love Zero Gravity combined style and story, and took four months to complete. I much prefer to do a monthly project rather than have a project stretch out for too long, as I get through more ideas in an amount of time.

People have been giving me feedback through the year, they like longer videos with resolution, or like multi-scene formats. So I would like to know your personal preference. Please vote for one option below, and if you have more input, let me know in comments. This will help me balance out the kind of projects I have planned, and will help me become more streamlined in my work.

How about, if it can be done, extending an existing loop to become a longer short loop, in-essence performing a multi-scene and build on to it.

Switch gamers is hot AF, but it's the situation and characters that make it so hot. The detail is great, but I would be happy to have less detail for more content.

Style is clear favourite for me. I love the details and there is lots of room for my imagination, which is really dirty :D :D :D

Oh, what about a tick-tock cadence to your releases? One month style, one month story. Repeat. Everyone gets something, and you get time with both kinds of projects.

I want to say this. I love your style, I love the plots you develop, and your details are impeccable. But to me, it all blends. I feel like the Switch Gaymers have become regulars, giving them more character. In essence, I could already easily pin a story. Even if it's just they wanted to fuck while playing, some can easily craft their own fantasies. On the other hand, the waiter one is amazing, and the acting helped overshadow the "lack of detail" (again, did not notice). You can alternate or not, but as someone who has an artistic spirit as well, I encourage you to do you. Switch it up if you want, or keep doing one or the other or both. But as someone who knows artists need to be happy, do what makes you happy. It can be crushing to pin yourself to something you don't like. Could a few people leave? Sure. But you have a wonderful style, and I believe admiration of what one does will help drive both quality and quantity. I haven't talked to you much, but I do think you are one of the more artistic people I support, so truly, in all serious, I encourage with all my heart that you are happy with your work first. You are very talented and will make it through. Tl;dr: your art is great, your plot is great. Be happy, love you.

I agree. If SL0G was a "slog" for you, and you want to do some much shorter projects, that's fine. I'm sure we'll be happy with whatever you produce. We just want you to be happy, too!

I do like the story and the situations more, and I find all your animation amazing, but saying that, even if the multi scenes are less shaded up until we see the 'goods', as the way you animate and put the definition into their dicks is too good 😂

well for smut I'm honestly more for quantity vs quality, more poses to fap to ^^; However some details are nice too, but your Switch Gamer is definitely pushing it quite far with all those clothing folds and detailed muscle. I think you can still add in shading without going that far, simple extremity shading just to hint on the lighting source, that will make it more manageable.

I also kind of like the middle-ground ones like Heat of the Moment where there isn't a whole lot of varying animation, but there's detail in the dialogue.

Asyran

I really like story. Would love to get to know the gaymers over a few animations. They seem like such a horny and good couple.

maruten

I see what you mean, I do a few economical tricks, and find I learn more tricks on the way.

maruten

For sure, depending on results, I can schedule out the kind of content for the next few months.

maruten

That could also be a nice effective way to get through story, if the jump in quality is not too noticeable!

maruten

The clothing in that one was so labour-intensive, but I also like that clothing detail :D I have certainly scaled back since then.

maruten

Interesting, I had wondered what people think of the dialogue, if it added or distracted. Perhaps I can write more horny talk in the future.

maruten

They were originally a one-off like most art that I make, I think it's cause the fans wanted more, that they now have a story kind of developing. It will be interesting to see where it ends up.

Would it be possible to go back through previous projects and take them in the opposite route? Like take one with story and make it more detail based, or vice-versa? The one with Cory and Colten (I think), it seemed to be a middle ground which I personally liked since they were interacting with each other. Idk, maybe that’d take more time, from a voice acting standpoint at least. Regardless I know whatever we get will be great, you’ve always done great stuff!

maruten

Hm, it can be hard to go back and add more animation if it hadn't been planned that way, it is faster to just make a new animation. But there was a deleted sequence in Star Love Zero Gravity where the three characters were kissing each other in an interesting position in zero gravity that I had hoped to animate, but due to schedule, I omitted it.
