Have a bonus upload micro TF...thing while you wait for the next chapter of The Ahn'Ger Stone to be uploaded tomorrow evening. It likely won't have any images included and be text only. That's likely the route I'm going with future uploads for the story unless I get really inspired to sit down and hone in on a specific visual.

Anyway, here's Red (not Ash Katchum) who has somehow transformed into a Pikachu. Hope there are no other Trainers around.

I'm going to just ramble about my memories of Pokemon for a bit so read on if you're curious about that, if not I'll see you in the next upload!

When it comes to Pokemon, I have no idea what is what anymore. I only really got hyper-fixated on the Gen 1 Pokemon, had Red & Blue for the original Gameboy (eventually had Yellow as well even though it was a total cash grab, lol). Had the strategy guide, but didn't have any of the comics or access to the anime because of how rural I am and how limited access was to that stuff in the 90s (and early 2000s).

Eventually though I did get to watch and own VHS episodes of the anime, along with the original movie. I even had the Burger King Pokeballs (and one really hardshell cased one that had a fake-gold metal card in it). I somehow even got the first four issues of the manga. I think it was through the Wizards of the Coast magazine? I don't really remember. Also had Ash's hat...But never got into collecting the cards (I've never been a card person). Also had Pokemon SNAP! for the Nintendo 64 but never bothered owning Pokemon Stadium.

I also had several Pokemon books, which again, total cash-grab but parents that don't pay attention plus being a kid means we ALL likely own a bunch of redundant ancillary material for our favorite childhood media franchises. All that being said though, I have a binder full of ;free hand tracing' that I did as a kid. I had this one book that was like a Pokedex, with splash art of the Pokemon and then a page for lore and stats. I'd have the book open and then do my best to draw the picture without directly tracing it. I mean I'm a little biased but they're not bad, all things considered. Really wish I'd stuck with drawing, really. Oh well.

I also played Gold & Silver, but I barely remember anything about those, and really only remember that the Lugia bird, the Cinderquill and Feraligatr along with the water mouse, the owl , the fake tree Pokemon and Togepii were part of that Gen.

Anyway, after Gold & Silver came out, I sort of fell away from Pokemon. Part of it was getting older, a larger part of it was probably falling out of love with Nintendo in general and becoming a die-hard Halo fan. Which I still am...But that's a rant for ANOTHER bonus upload.

Anyway, The Ahn'Ger Stone uploads at some point tomorrow evening, and hope you enjoyed this.
