Content

Hi, guys I wanted to get an idea of which illusion games you are currently using. I got the HS2 head making process down and I'm about to start producing content for HS2. I also have the ability to convert my HS1 mods to HS2. Recently some of the other head modders have started to move towards only making HS2 content. My community still seems interested in HS1 so I'm trying to get a sense of which direction I should go in the future, and if the community is still interested in HS1.

I'm still on HS1, instead HS2 is light years away from having the same amount of head mods as HS1.

Move to hs2 people

here it is quite difficult in terms of sampling between 1 and the second part, although the rest of the mods that I would like to see is for the third part is only in the first

Does it have the app like HSResolveMoreSlotID? If not, then I don’t play HS2.

still playing HS1, HS2 still has a long way to go

the moment the community figured out how to make custom maps that worked in H game, hs1 was old news, especially with screwthisnoise's repacks. the betterrepack allows everyone to have 99% of the same stuff. no hunting down assets for cards to work, no bone mods to import—it's been a real upgrade. anyway this is fantastically timed, because black widow has a shot at winning a poll soon and i would LOVE to get her in hs2. seeing sam from until dawn converted would be awesome too. i'd definitely commission hs1 to hs2 ports.

HS1, not moving to HS2 any time soon

HS1 only so far, not having your works in HS2 is one of my reasons to not even bother with it, though.

HS1 for sure, I tried to play HS2 for almost a month and I eventually moved back to HS1. I talked to many folks on discord and I found I am not the only one. HS2 still needs more time...

HS2 needs at least one more year of *extensive* modding before it can be remotely up to par with HS1.

Personally think HS2 is superior in general but HS1 has more mods available. Obviously modders have to support a game in order for it to have a better chance. I think HS2 should get more love every once and awhile.

HS2 just doesn't feel as fun as HS1 to me. Sure it's creation options are eons ahead of HS1... it still feels lifeless.

if the support for HS2 is there, i'd switch without hesitation

I understand the feels. Modding it right now for me I had the same feeling I'm thinking maybe it's because I am not fully familiar with it like in HS1.

weird, that's how i feel about hs1 now. i respect your opinion though. off the top of my head, i recall a lighting change in hs2 making a major difference, because holy crap, the default lighting in that game SUCKS. a quick switch to a dhh preset can work wonders.

This is true, DHH makes a massive difference in the quality of the game. Base game lighting looked so heavily filtered and washed out, made it look drab and dull despite the character creation being more extensive.
