Red eyes in photography is a no no.
There is a specific setting to minimise the effect on every camera, especially if it has a build in flash, and also on our phones!
But that function is to prevent the light coming from the camera reflecting in the inside of the eye and showing the red reflecting through the wide open pupil.
In the case of Anna, she had a single red eye, possibly irritated by wind or something getting inside before we met and by her scratching it inadvertently.
I hope it is just a momentary issue, and that she is going to be ok for our next shooting, but for this one I guess numerous photos are going to show this problem...
I still think they are worthy photos to be seen and, actually, I think this small imperfection makes Anna appear even more human and vulnerable.
My choice to work only with true organic beauties instead than AI artefacts does have some small drawbacks, but I still prefer this natural appearance to cold digital perfection!
