Leave what's dark in the shadows. (Patreon)

Light is a magic component in photography, and can really emphasise your subject, but you have to respect its rules.
In this photo everything is perfectly detailed by the light, right down to the texture of the skin.
Only the beautiful eyes of Martina are in shadow, which is a shame, but in this instance it had to be like this, to add drama and mystery to the scene.
Light knows perfectly well what it's doing, as a photographer you just need to have faith in its magic.
