When I get hooked on something, I have to gather as much of it as I can afford to.
This happened with CD’s when I was a teenager, cameras and lenses both in the film and digital era, and even cars and motorbikes that are much more expensive and difficult to store.
In the last year, I’ve been infected by the wrist watch fever.
My syndrome is so severe, that I can even buy 2 examples of the same object!
It is happening with watches, that I feel the need to have the same model with bronze case and black dial, as well as the version with stainless steel case and white dial; or the same military watch in vintage quartz version, as well as the contemporary automatic unit.
And this was happening also with cars!
At one point in my life I was so fond of my 1992 red Miata, that I bought a bargain 1995 green Miata to use every day, whilst keeping the red one for a future restoration.

When one specific passion fades away to a certain degree, I’m left with a stock of whatever I was collecting that will last me for the rest of my life!

I’m telling you this because it is happening also with the Bramley Apple Project, albeit in a less frenzy way, so it is going to last much longer.
I’m steadily collecting as much models as I can, and the same model in different locations or moments in their lives, storing this material in my external drives even if I don’t have the time to process it right now.
Even if I had to stop for any reason (and I don’t plan on doing so any time soon), I would still need years to complete the work I’ve accumulated.
But this is not slowing me down, and I have another shooting planned for October the 8th.
This will be a brand new model for me, a new piece in my collection of Apples.
Whilst other models like Martina are so important for me, that I keep adding new shootings (today’s photo is from our last set on September 22nd).

I realise this collecting tendency is a disease, but I can transform it in an asset if I manage to steer it in the right direction, like my nude photography, so somebody else is going to benefit from my syndrome.
