As anticipated in the past days, on Saturday I shot with Ania for the third time.
This photoshoot in an abandoned house was different from most of the others, and required a specific approach, one that could do justice both to Ania and the surroundings.

I went back to the Nikon D810, and coupled it with the AF-S NIKKOR 20mm f/1.8G ED,
This is a difficult lens to use for nudes, like all wide angle lenses, especially as extreme as a 20mm.
The secret is to keep the subject in the center as much as possible, to avoid deforming the limbs of your beauty in the corner of the image.
Lens and camera combination is also well suited for the use with the Profoto A1 flashlight, essential in the darker corners of this mansion.
The quality of this modern lens, plus the 36MP sensor of the D810 camera, are providing exceptionally good images (remember to zoom in for details), not necessarily better than the ones provided by the Leica SL2-S, but a nice variation in the Bramley Apple portfolio.
Cameras are not created equal, and each one is ideally suited for specific purposes.

And now let's talk about the return of Ania: she way even more beautiful than the last time, and she reassured me about wanting to carry on modelling for a long time.
Now I need to find another excuse (and/or location) to shoot with her!
